As a proud United Way of Central Alabama partner agency, Collat Jewish Family Services (CJFS) hosted Hands Up Together 2025 on April 29th at The Grand Bohemian Hotel.
This year’s event was in honor of 10 years of CARES: Caring for Adults through Respite, Enrichment, and Socialization. The CARES respite program offers an engaging social environment for people living with memory and movement disorders, such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, while offering a much-needed break, support and education for their family caregivers. The event also supports the CJFS services provided as a critical resource for older adults and their families as they navigate the journey of aging.
