Can you believe that it’s already February? Time has been flying - especially with all the fun we’ve been having to start off 2023. The month of love promises to keep the fun going with all the concerts, comedy, car shows, and more that are happening in the Magic City. Here are a few of our most anticipated happenings during this first week of February.

Fundraiser Show at Firehouse featuring Tenci, Cash Langdon, and Trooper! (Wednesday)

Two of Birmingham’s best bands - Trooper and Cash Langdon - will be playing at the Firehouse Community Arts Center alongside Tenci from Chicago this Wednesday. Not only will this be a fantastic show, but the event is also a benefit raising money for the Yellowhammer Fund. Doors open at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8pm. 

America at Alabama Theatre (Thursday)

America (the band) is kicking off a month full of incredible concerts in the Magic City! The legendary group will be playing at the beautiful Alabama Theatre this Thursday evening. This is going to be a can’t-miss show at a premiere Birmingham venue.  

Free Bad Movie Night at Sidewalk (Friday)

There’s something truly special about a movie that is so bad that it’s enjoyable to watch. Whether it is corny, has poor dialogue, or is just too wackadoodle to capture the love of general audiences - bad movies can still bring joy in their own way! Sidewalk will be playing a mystery bad movie for free this Friday. All you have to do is show up and have fun. 

Katt Williams at the Legacy Arena (Friday)

A comedy heavyweight will be in the building (Legacy Arena to be exact) this Friday! Katt Williams is coming to Birmingham to give a comedy six-pack from laughing so hard to the residents of our fair city. We highly recommend checking out this sensational show. 

World of Wheels at The BJCC (Friday to Sunday)

Car lovers of the world unite! The World of Wheels will be at The BJCC this weekend. In addition to hundreds of custom cars and exhilarating rides, there will be appearances by famous automobiles and characters from shows including Saleen Alley, Knight Rider, and Good Times. If that doesn’t convince you, Hot Wheels Drag Racing should do the trick!
