Funky Food Truck Festival

This Saturday, enjoy an afternoon of great food from some of Birmingham’s top-tier food trucks! Cuisines of all types will be available for everyone - Mexican, vegan, street corn, hot chicken, Italian, Maine lobster and more. Make sure to finish your meal and cool off with sweet treats and sno-balls also available through food truck vendors. Relax on the patio with your favorite brew from Cahaba Brewing Co. and shop around with local artisans and pop-up shops. To top it all off, a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to AIDS Alabama in order to help fund research materials.


Lebanese Food and Cultural Festival

If culture and food are your interests, this event will be perfect for you! The 23rd Annual Saint Elias Lebanese Food Festival and Silent Auction will be taking place at the St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church this Friday and Saturday. The festival will be drive-thru/takeout only and will feature several classic Lebanese dishes including: Kibbee, grilled lemon chicken, spinach pies, grape leaves, and more! Swing by to grab your food to go and enjoy it at home or take it to one of your favorite outdoor destinations within the Magic City. Plus, 25% of the festival proceeds will be donated to local and national charities.

Central Alabama Pride is excited to host Pride Fest 2021, which will take place on Saturday June 12th in Avondale’s Entertainment District! Running in conjunction with Eat in the Streets, this family friendly festival will provide an opportunity for the community to come together for a day of love and celebration accompanied by live entertainment, drag, food and drinks, vendors, and Pride for the entire family!

Join the Magic City this Saturday from 4-8p.m. at Sloss Furnaces for the 14th Annual Magic City Brewfest! This event will showcase the best of craft brewers and will promote premier beers in Birmingham. This festival is hosted by Free The Hops, a grassroots organization formed to bring the highest-quality beers in the world to Alabama. Calling all master builders and future engineers! Come down to McWane Science Center for a day filled with LEGOS. When you’re done building with studs and bricks, you can continue to design, build, test, and explore with McWane’s newest exhibit, Brickology. Make sure to put on your thinking cap before entering the construction world of Brickology and then explore all that McWane has to offer!
